Dua E Qunoot is a dua which is recited in evening prayer(Namaz e Witr). Namaz e Witr is performed in Esha everyday after Farz namaz. It is of three-3 Raka'at , the dua is recited in the last(3rd) Raka'at as you can read it in text.

Dua E Qunoot in Arabic text:
اَللَّهُمَّ إنا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ وَنُثْنِئْ عَلَيْكَ الخَيْرَ وَنَشْكُرُكَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ ئَّفْجُرُكَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلِّئ وَنَسْجُدُ وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعأئ وَنَحْفِدُ وَنَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشآئ عَذَابَكَ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالكُفَّارِ مُلْحَقٌ.
Allahumma inna nastaeenuka wa nasgfiruka wa numinubika wa natawakalu alayka wa nusni alaykal khair wa nashkuruka wa nakfuruka wa nakhlao wa natruku mayyafjuruka allahumma iyyaka nabudo wa laka nusalli wa nasjudo wa ilayka nasaa wa nahfidu wa narju rahmataka wa nakhsha azabaka inna azabaka bilkuffari mulhik.
Can we recite surah ikhlas instead of dua e qunoot?
First of all we have to know the difference between reciting surah ikhlas and dua e qunoot. Surah ikhlas is the introduction of Allah , it tell us about Allah but dua e qunoot is a request to Allah about fulfilling our needs . When a person stand in front of Allah (Namaz) , Allah asks him "tell me your needs ,and I'm here to fulfill it ".The dua e qunoot is a dua which contains all worldly needs and the needs which we should have after our death(in aakhrat). So it is advised you to recite dua e qunoot in Namaz e Witr as it has many advantages . But if you are unable to memorise it (dua e qunoot), there are many other dua, but surah ikhlas is not a dua.

- Allah is the Great , he is the only supreme power who satisfies all our needs without letting anyone know." May Allah bless us good in this world and after life and save us from the huge burning fire of hell" (Surah al-Baqarah, 201).
- The Almigthy Allah who is runner of the Universe ,who give life and death, may grant me well in life so that I can live happily and walk in a right direction as shown by our Prophet Mohammad (SW) and also grant me well after death so that I will be save from doom to hell.
- Allah! the only supreme power , I beg infront of you for help and forgiveness
because I know you are the only one who is always with us in each and every situation and know our each and every action. Allah! you are the only one who forgive us when we raise our hand infront of you with honesty and true believe in you.
- O Allah! your love for us is more than the love shown by seventy(70) mothers towards her child , we are nothing infront of you, we are all depended on you. I beg infront of you Allah ,please direct me among those whom You have guided and excuse me among those whom You have exculpated. Have a sympathy on me and bless me with your kindness.
Is One Rakat Witr Allowed?
Yes, from the hadith that can be performed, we know that our Prophet, may God's peace be upon him, also performed it.
We have also performed 3 rakat Witr and 1 rakat is also given to us by hadith.
